It stars Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Bobby Deol, Tamannaah and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It was released on 22 October 2009. The film was a commercial success and grossed over in India. It was the 10th highest-grossing Bollywood film in India of the year 2009. The film was later remade in Marathi as Tamanna. The film was a sequel to the 2008 film Inshallah (2007).
Plot
Bilal (Bobby Deol) is a Pakistani child in the Israeli embassy in Delhi, India. When his uncle, Pritam (Anil Kapoor), comes to the embassy to take Bilal home, he is killed by an explosion. It's later revealed that Pritam is the head of the ISI.
16 years later, Bilal has grown up to be a young adult in the Indian army. He is sent to Pakistan for a covert operation, which will take place on the 9th day of the Islamic new year, and he will not be able to return home until the operation is over. While in Pakistan, he meets Altaf (Sanjay Dutt), who was also sent by the Indian government to the ISI. Bilal asks Altaf for his help in the operation.
On the way to the safe house, Bilal and his soldiers are captured by the ISI, and they're taken to the home of Bilal's uncle Pritam. There, Bilal has a conversation with Pritam, who tells him that the ISI has set up a plot to kill the Prime Minister of India, and they need to assassinate him at the safe house on the ninth of the new year. Bilal decides to go through with the plan. Pritam then reveals that Bilal was the one who killed him when he was 10 years old.
Meanwhile, Altaf is also preparing to assassinate the PM at the safe house. When he arrives there, he finds out that the safe house is being guarded by the ISI. He escapes, but the soldiers that were there are captured by the ISI. Altaf tells Bilal that he is planning to escape, but that he has only one bullet left. He then tells Bilal that he needs his help in escaping. However, the ISI soldiers take Bilal, and he is also taken to Pritam's house, where he makes a deal with Pritam.
